North Northamptonshire Council has just launched a public consultation on a summary version of its first ever Corporate Plan. The Corporate Plan is a key strategic document for the Council, setting out its vision, values, key commitments and priorities for the future.

The consultation on a high-level summary of the Corporate Plan provides an opportunity for everyone to get involved and help shape the future of the local area and public services provided.

The discussion about the new Council’s vision and values began last year at the shadow authority.

Although not a statutory requirement, a public consultation is considered good practice. The closing date for responses is midnight, 3rd October 2021.

A summary of the proposed plan along with an online survey is now available on our consultation hub at

A paper version will be available on request and will soon also be in our customer service centres and in all North Northamptonshire libraries.

All feedback received will be reviewed and a final version of the Corporate Plan along with a summary of the feedback will be considered by the Executive in October. The Corporate Plan will then be presented to Council in December 2021 for consideration for formal adoption.

Everyone is welcome to take part and have their say.
