Gretton Parish Council
Gretton Parish Council wish to co-opt a new councillor following the resignation of Julie Smith.
Members of the public are invited to apply for co-option.
If you are interested in being considered for the role, please send an introductory letter outlining your wish for nomination. To assist the Parish Council in their decision, it would be helpful if you could tell us a little about yourself, why you are interested in becoming a councillor, and any skills you have that you feel will benefit the Parish Council.
To be considered for co-option, at least one of the following criteria must be met.
Registered as an elector for the parish on the date of the co-option.
Owner or tenant of land in the parish for twelve months before the date of co-option
Main or only place of work in the parish for twelve months before the date of co-option
Resident in the parish for twelve months before the date of the co-option
Resident within 4.8 kilometers (3 miles) of the parish for twelve months before the date of the co-option
The deadline for application is Friday, 22nd March, 2024.
